Updating learning comics when facts or curricula change

Syllabi move; research advances—panels age. Publishers owe readers visible revision, not silent swaps.

Separate cosmetic from substantive edits

Colour grading tweaks should not pretend to be ‘new edition’ hype. When facts or pedagogical steps change, say so where educators will notice—release notes, pinned comments, or short front matter.

Timestamps readers can trust

If your site exposes publish or update dates, align them with substantive edits. Mismatch between visible copy and metadata erodes classroom adoption.

Retire or redirect deliberately

When an explainer is superseded, point readers to the replacement episode instead of leaving a misleading chapter live.
